Mass General Brigham Home Care is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients at home in the Beantown area. The role emphasizes one-on-one care, mobility, and independence, with a stable full-time schedule.

You will work within a focused service area, treating patients in neighborhoods around Boston and surrounding districts, while collaborating with a strong interdisciplinary team and receiving ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in acute care, rehab or homecare as a PTA.
• Massachusetts PTA license required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Strong verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Travel within Mass General Brigham Healthcare at Home area.
• Ability to work independently with patients in home settings.

Responsabilités

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT.
• Provide therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Reinforce fall prevention and home safety strategies.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document treatments and patient responses.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to support patient goals.
