Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time home health opportunity in Atlantic County. You will provide PTA services to adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis in Atlantic County.

Responsibilities include treatment, tests, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist, with a focus on maintaining patients' physical well-being. This role requires appropriate licensure and relevant PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure or certification in the STATE
• Graduate from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
• One year of PTA experience and a proficiency exam if qualifying before Dec 31, 1977
• At least one year work experience under supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being with treatment and interventions as delegated by a licensed PT
• Perform tests and client education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis in Atlantic County

Education

Current licensure or certification in the state

Two-year college program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association

One year PTA experience with proficiency exam (if qualification occurred before 1977)

At least one year under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
