Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to provide skilled home visits throughout the Ocoee, FL area. Visits are performed under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, with compensation per visit or hourly depending on the case.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license is required.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience.
• CPR certification and Level II background screening are required.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatment visits as outlined in the Plan of Care.
• Carry out therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility interventions.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate, timely, and defensible clinical documentation.
