Job summary

Comforting, Loving & Helping Hands Home Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy visits in patients' homes in the Alafaya, FL area. Visits are performed under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, with compensation structured per visit or hourly depending on the case.

This role requires a Florida PTA license, at least two years of clinical experience, and the ability to travel to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license required.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Documentation skills essential for timely notes.
• CPR certification and Level II background screening required.
• Must be able to travel to patient homes.
• Willingness to work as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA treatment visits per Plan of Care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, functional mobility.
• Monitor patient response and report progress to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
• Communicate effectively with supervising PT and care team.
• Complete accurate, timely, defensible clinical documentation.
