Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health PTA in Salisbury, NC for 1:1 patient care at the home. The role provides therapy planned and supervised by a Physical Therapist, with opportunities to work independently while supported by a clinical team.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted PTA license in North Carolina, current BLS/CPR, and at least one year of PTA experience, with knowledge of neuro rehabilitation techniques. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient progress and plan of treatment.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve patient function and incorporates it into rehabilitation.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.
