Adoration Home Health in Nags Head, NC is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and provide patient-centered, 1:1 home health care in Dare & Currituck Counties. This full-time role offers Mon-Fri scheduling in a supportive environment and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, with opportunities for growth, flexibility, and a balanced workload while delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns.
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function. Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations.
