Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Burke, Virginia. The PTA will perform home health visits, with full-time or part-time opportunities, servicing adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis in Tysons/Great Falls, VA.

The PTA assists clients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, holds VA licensure, and has completed a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA.

Qualifications

• Have current licensure or certification in VA.
• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Have two years of appropriate PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam if applicable.
• Have at least one year of work experience under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well being by providing treatment, tests, client education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
