Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in Central Waco, TX. The PT will evaluate patients, develop plans, and provide interventions to improve mobility and reduce pain in a home setting.

The role emphasizes patient education, collaborative care with an interdisciplinary team, and delivering compassionate service to help patients regain independence at home.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to diverse patients.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in home health settings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention measures.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients toward independence.
