Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in Eagle Pass, TX. The PTA will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, promote mobility, and enhance functional independence in the home setting.

Responsibilities include developing individualized plans, educating patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license
• Current CPR certification
• Professional liability insurance coverage
• Home health experience preferred
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Clinical PTA experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in patient care
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices
• Professional and compassionate when educating patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver home health physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement functional interventions
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce medication reliance
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using proven techniques
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals
• Educate and motivate patients to participate in rehabilitation
• Promote health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination and balance
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor progress and document outcomes and maintain patient records
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervising therapist or clinical manager
