Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Devine, TX. This onsite role offers the chance to help patients regain movement and reduce pain in the comfort of their homes.

We value patient-centered care, reliability, and evidence-based practice. Required TX license, liability coverage, and a graduate degree in Physical Therapy. Home health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active TX Physical Therapy license.
• Professional liability insurance coverage in TX.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and reduce fall risk.
• Deliver compassionate care and empower patients toward independence.
