Job summary

PARS Therapy seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Kaufman, TX. You will help patients regain movement and reduce pain in their own homes, delivering personalized, evidence-based care.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and documentation of progress using digital platforms. Texas licensure and home health experience are preferred, with flexible scheduling to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required.
• Graduate degree (DPT or equivalent) in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in a home health setting and assess functional limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in digital systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments to prevent falls and re-injury.
