Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team in Bulverde, TX. You will evaluate and treat patients at home, develop individualized plans, and educate caregivers to promote safe, independent living.

Ideal candidates hold a TX PT license, a DPT or equivalent, and have experience in home health or rehab settings. Excellent communication and compassion are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (TX).
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX PT practice.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to patient needs.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor when educating patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapy including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists as part of the care team.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies.
• Deliver compassionate care and empower patients toward independence.
