Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Falls Church, VA is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide in-home visits across the Arlington area. The role can be PRN, part-time, or full-time, offering flexible scheduling.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess and treat adult and geriatric clients, develop individualized care plans, document progress, and educate patients and families to promote independence.

Qualifications

• Must have a VA Physical Therapist license.
• Graduate from an APTA/Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation approved program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements (mobility, ROM, balance, gait, strength).
• Implement wound care and wound prevention strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans including manual therapy and gait training.
• Educate clients and families in rehabilitative care and activities to promote independence.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using EMR.
