Nurses Direct is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a home health contract in Salem, VA. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mobility impairments in their homes, documenting with HCHB charting. The role runs M-F, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., involves direct patient care, therapy planning, education, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists. Candidates must have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, NPTE license, and state licensure; health

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) license.
• State-specific licensure requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations
• Assess movement patterns, strength, and range of motion
• Diagnose impairments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Design and administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Educate patients on self-care and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and discharge when appropriate
• Provide education on health conditions and lifestyle changes
