Job summary

UnitedHealth Group''s Atrinity Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in home care under a supervising Physical Therapist. The role involves treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to improve well-being following the established plan of care.

Qualifications include an active PTA license, a valid driver''s license with reliable transportation, and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in physical therapy.
• Current driver''s license and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home PT and follow the plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to the supervising PT and coordinates care with the health care team.
• Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other health care team members in therapy within PTA scope.
• Function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
