Job summary

Top Tier Personnel is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant located in Kyle, TX. This role involves providing excellent health care, supervising aides, and developing patient protocols.

Candidates must have an active state license or a multi-state license and preferably one year of experience in a relevant setting. The position offers PTO, health benefits, and mileage compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-year of experience as a physical therapy assistant in an acute care, rehabilitation, or home health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent health care for our patients.
• Treating patients and educating them on their injury, progress, and probable outcomes.
• Supervising aides when providing modalities for non-Medicare patients.
• Re-evaluating patient progress and revising plans of care.
• Determining when to discharge patients.
• Writing timely and accurate documentation.
• Achieving a reasonable level of productivity.
• Helping to develop protocols for common diagnoses.
• Participating in research studies.
• Responsible for continuing to develop their own skills.

Skills

Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice

Good interpersonal skills

Proof of current CPR certification

Knowledge of durable medical equipment

Education

Active, state license or multi-state license from PTLC member state
