Job summary

The role requires graduation from PTA program approved by CAPTE, holding a current PTA license, CPR certification, and at least two years of PTA experience, preferably in home health care.

Qualifications

• Graduated from PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE.
• Current PTA license in the practice state.
• Minimum of two years PTA experience, preferably in home health care.
• Criminal background check and other state checks.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists PT in implementing patient care plans and activities.
• Guides patients through prescribed exercises for strength and ROM.
• Prepares equipment and documents patient progress.
• Transports patients as needed and ensures safety.
• Maintains clean equipment and follows sterile procedures.
• Records responses and refers for reevaluation when needed.
