Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home care PT; perform only procedures qualified and trained; report changes to supervising PT.
• Instructs patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses; coordinate care with the health care team.
• Instructs patient and family in therapy within PTA scope.
• Function in any home setting regardless of demographics.
