Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for Northfield Falls, Vermont.

This full-time or part-time role involves providing home health visits to adult and geriatric clients, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Requirements include Vermont PTA licensure, completion of a 2-year PTA program (APTA approved), and relevant experience or proficiency exam results.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification in Vermont.
• Graduated from a two-year college level PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Two years of PTA experience and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam (if qualification occurred before 31 Dec 1977).
• At least one year of work experience under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in attaining or maintaining physical well-being with PTA services.
• Provide treatment, tests, client education and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
