Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to perform visits in Montpelier, Vermont. This full-time or part-time position offers per-visit compensation and serves adult and geriatric patients in the South Burlington area and surrounding VT territories.

The PTA will provide treatment and client education under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring high-quality one-on-one care in home health settings.

Qualifications

• Must have Vermont licensure or certification.
• Graduate from a two-year PTA program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Two years of PTA experience and a proficiency exam if applicable before 1977.
• At least one year of experience under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients to attain or maintain physical well-being; provide treatment, tests, education and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Perform home health visits in assigned territories in Vermont.
