Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to serve patients across Burlington and Camden counties in New Jersey. This part-time, pay-per-point role emphasizes high-quality home-based care and patient comfort.

You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, providing education, interventions, and ongoing assessment to optimize patient wellbeing at home.

Qualifications

• Active NJ licensure or certification is required.
• Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association approved two-year PTA program.
• Two years of PTA experience and a proficiency exam may be required for qualification.
• At least one year of work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Prior home health experience is welcomed, but BAYADA will train you.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care are essential.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients at home, guiding care from hospital discharge to independent living with comfort and dignity.
• Provide therapy interventions, tests, education, and delegated treatments as directed by a licensed PT.
• Continually assess and revise the PT care plan in collaboration with nursing and the care team.
• Deliver patient care with professionalism, empathy, and reliability.
