UnitedHealth Group, through IL Home Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to perform treatment and patient education in home care under a supervising PT. Provide exercise instruction and support aimed at improving patient well-being within the established plan of care.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing home care PT provision and the defined plan of care.
• Instruct and assist patients in active and passive exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and care team; coordinate with the team.
