Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapy license (state-employed)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs to restore function and relieve pain.
• Completes comprehensive physical assessments and identifies referral needs to other clinicians.
• Performs tests and measurements such as range-of-motion and manual muscle testing; functional analysis.
• Instructs patients and families in therapy procedures for home continuation.
• Supervises licensed physical therapy assistants and aides.
