Job summary

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our home health team in New Braunfels/Canyon Lake, TX. This onsite role focuses on evaluating patients, creating individualized plans, and delivering evidence-based care in the comfort of patients’ homes.

You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, educate families, and monitor progress to improve mobility and independence. Competitive benefits and scheduling options are available.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Physical Therapist license (TX).
• Professional liability insurance coverage for TX license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to patient needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists in care planning.
• Conduct home safety assessments and prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients toward independence.
