Amedisys is hiring a Physical Therapist to support patients at home in Conway, SC. This PRN Days role focuses on helping patients improve movement and function with periodic reexaminations and discharge planning as needed.

The position requires a state PT license, CAPTE accreditation, CPR certification, and likely 1+ year in home health care; training and mentoring may be provided for less experienced therapists.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of home health care experience is preferred; mentoring may be required for less experience.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, reexaminations every 30 days, adjust plans as needed, discharge planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
