Day Kimball Health in Thompson, CT is hiring a Physical Therapist to join our Homecare team. This full-time role provides orthopedic-focused home health care with a 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, under the supervision of the HomeCare Rehabilitation Supervisor.

The position aims to reduce disability and help patients achieve maximum functional potential. Ideal candidates have home health, orthopedic, or fast-paced clinical setting experience, CT license eligibility, CPR certification, and a BS

Qualifications

• BS degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Connecticut license or license eligible.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• Valid Connecticut driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients per physician order; document treatment progress.
• Educates patient and family about condition and home program.
• Confer with physician and team regarding progress or plan.
• Directs other health care team members as needed.
• Tests and measures function to adjust treatment plan.
