Job summary

Eligible candidates will have a NJ PT license and at least one year of PT experience, with strong documentation and EMR skills. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time PTs, along with BAYADA’s supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• A current New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist (PT).
• Graduation from an APTA-approved program or AMA COA Accreditation evidenced by transcript or diploma.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements including mobility, balance, gait, strength, and safety assessments.
• Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapy, gait training, balance and related interventions.
• Continuously assess and revise the PT care plan and coordinate with nursing in the multidisciplinary team.
• Educate clients and family members in rehabilitative care for health, safety, and independent living.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using EMR tablets.
