Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to work per diem on weekdays in the Gloucester, VA area. The role offers a pay range of $60.00/hr to $70.00/hr and involves providing therapy in patients' homes with ongoing reexaminations and discharge planning.

Formación

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate from CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of related physical therapy experience for home health care.
• If less than one year of experience, regional clinical leaders must approve with mentoring/residency involvement.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in.

• Graduate from an accredited physical therapy educational program as set by the Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• One year related physical therapy experience for PTs entering home health care to ensure that knowledge and skills are sufficient to safely provide physical therapy services to patients.
• If less than one year of experience, approval from regional clinical leaders is required as well as appropriate mentoring and/or participating in a residency program.
• Current CPR certification.
