Job summary

Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Whatcom County, WA. This role offers high autonomy and requires WA licensure with CAPTE accreditation or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. BLS CPR certification is also required.

The PT will assess functional status, develop and implement the plan of care, and educate patients and caregivers. Supervising PT assistants and timely documentation are part of daily duties, with flexible scheduling for part-time or PRN roles.

We offer the best of both worlds –The backing and stability of a proven healthcare “giant”, with the permission to operate locally as if it were our own Whatcom County based business.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssumes the responsibility for the on-going interdisciplinary and individualized plan of care in partnership with the patient, family/representative and/or caregiver(s).Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, and participation in the development of the total plan of care. Evaluates home environment.Provides patient, family, and/or caregiver counseling, education, and progress summary based on the attainment of goals.Initiates physical therapy program and instructs other personnel and/or family/caregiver members in certain phases of physical therapy with which they may work with a patient, as well as instructing them as to the goals of the physical therapy program for the patient by participating in case conferences.Supervises physical therapy assistant(s) according to organizational policy and in alignment with state regulations.Completes daily documentation, schedulingKnowledge, Skills and ExperiencePossess and maintains licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Washington.Graduated from an accredited CAPTE or successor organization with at least a baccalaureate degree for legacy programs or a doctorate's degree in physical therapy.Possesses and maintains a valid and active BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.Possesses and maintains a valid drivers' license and personal automobile with insurance for daily travel as a requirement.Schedule, Pay and BenefitsPart-time or PRN flexible scheduling.Hourly $49-53 an hour + Mileage Reimbursement.Contact Us if this role sounds like you!Learn More About UsExceptional In-Home Healthcare | Signature | Oregon & WashingtonProviding Life-Changing Service | PennantThe employer for this position is stated in the job posting.
