Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking an administrative support specialist to handle front-desk duties, answer calls, coordinate patient appointments, and support staff across our Texas home health operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and experience in healthcare administration; proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication are essential for success.

This is a hands-on position that collaborates with clinical managers to ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Valid Nursing license from the state practicing in.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in home health.
• Minimum of two years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• G greets visitors in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
• Assists with answering incoming calls from patients, staff, physician offices, referral sources, etc. and transfers caller to the appropriate person or department.
• Takes messages when needed and relays to the appropriate person in a timely manner.
• Selects appropriate clinician for patient assignment based upon patient needs, location of the patient, and skill of the clinician.
• Maintains visit data in electronic medical record.
