Job summary

Lincare is seeking a field-based service representative to install and maintain home medical equipment, primarily concentrators, in patients' homes and facilities. The role includes training patients on equipment use and ensuring safe operation.

Responsibilities include daily oxygen deliveries, minor repairs, vehicle upkeep, and strict adherence to FDA/OSHA/DOT guidelines. On-call shifts evenings and weekends are required as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Must have good interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license for the appropriate class of vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Complete equipment orientation checklists and required paperwork for new patient setup.
• Instruct patients in the safe and proper use of medical equipment.
• Make oxygen deliveries (cylinder and concentrator) and perform daily route checks; may refill reservoirs from a van-mounted tank.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance; package major repairs for shipment when needed.
• Maintain company vehicle in clean, safe condition and adhere to maintenance schedules.
• Clean and inspect rental equipment and keep warehouse/storage area organized.
• Follow FDA guidelines for cylinder tracking and oxygen analyzer testing.
• Adhere to Safety, OSHA, DOT, FDA and Emergency Planning policies as documented.
• Serve as on-call service representative evenings and weekends; respond promptly and document in Service Call Report.
• May back up other staff for vacation, illness, or absences.
