Job summary

Peppercare is seeking a compassionate Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our Ventura team. You will deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes, supporting recovery and promoting independence with a client-focused approach.

Applicants must hold an OTA license in California, maintain CPR/BLS certification, and possess a valid driver's license with automobile insurance. Mentorship is offered for those new to home health.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• California OTA license required.
• Current CPR/BLS-Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic intervention following treatment plan established by Occupational Therapist.
• Promote independence in the home setting through therapeutic intervention and modify treatment plan as needed.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers regarding home exercise program, safety, falls prevention.
• Communicate effectively with all team members.
• Maintain patient records in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure quality standard of care.
