Job summary

UnitedHealth Group’s Caretenders division is hiring an Occupational Therapist for full-time or PRN in Ohio (Niles) to assess and plan care for patients at home.

You will evaluate functional status, ADLs, and assistive devices; collaborate with the care team; and adhere to CMS guidelines. Sign-on bonus $7,500 with benefits.

Requires active OT licensure and valid driver's license; strong communication and multitasking are valued.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides OT services within the scope of practice and plan of care.
• Evaluates functional status and CMS documentation requirements with physician input.
• Observes, records and reports patient response; communicates changes to the team.
• Conducts assessments using functional ability tests and functional status measures.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments and with varied patient backgrounds.
