Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our Upper Marlboro, MD team. Provide 1:1 patient care in home-health settings with flexible scheduling and team support.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing measurable goals, and supervising OT Assistants. Requires CAPTE-certified OT education, state licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-approved Occupational Therapy Education program.
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure in state and CPR certification.
• Two years of experience in adult occupational therapy; home health experience preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluation and treatment based on physician orders, including adaptive equipment procurement.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward independence.
• Maintain communication among treatment team, physician, patient, and family members as applicable.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services for proper billing.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in direct patient care per state act.
