Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Occupational Therapist license (required).
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care in partnership with the client, representative, caregiver(s), and physician(s).
• Provides direct occupational therapy services in accordance with the plan of care established by the physician.
• Educates client and family in rehabilitation care and activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
• Documents observations, interventions, and evaluations for care management and services provided.
• Select activities to teach work and life-management skills within client capabilities.
• Recommend changes in patients' work or living environments as needed.
• Engage in research activities and participate in formal educational training related to therapy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
