Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-home therapy, focusing on improving activities of daily living and functional mobility for patients in the Bloomington area.

Qualified candidates are licensed OT professionals with at least some experience in home health; Medicare home health experience is preferred. This role emphasizes family teaching and collaboration with a broader care team under the Branch Director.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an OT in the state where you practice.
• Minimum of one-year experience preferred, but can be lower with approvals based on prior experience.
• Medicare home health experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help patients in the home improve daily living and motor functions using targeted therapies.
• Administer skilled OT care under physician orders and the established plan of care, under supervision of the Branch Director.
• Educate family members and other health care staff to support ongoing therapy and home-based activities.
