Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Bellevue, WA seeks an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence, safety and improved quality of life. Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Current license to practice OT in the assigned state.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.
• Eligible to take or have completed the NBCOT entry-level exam.
• One year related OT experience; if <1 year, mentoring/ residency required according to regional leaders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan addresses all problems identified in the assessment.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
