Job summary

PARS Therapy in Wills Point, TX is seeking a dedicated Home Health Occupational Therapist to support patients in regaining independence in their own homes.

You will deliver goal‑oriented care, evaluate and rehabilitate ADLs/IADLs, and collaborate with families to ensure safe environments. A TX OT license and liability insurance are required, with a graduate degree in OT and home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas OT license and professional liability insurance.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing and maintaining daily living and work skills.
• Implement individualized therapy plans under supervision of an OT when applicable.
• Adapt interventions to improve safety and independence in ADLs/IADLs.
• Educate clients on steps and adaptive strategies for activities of daily living.
• Recommend and train use of adaptive equipment.
• Assess home environments and suggest modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide guidance.
• Track and report patient progress toward treatment goals.
• Document care and maintain records with accuracy.
• Conduct follow-ups to ensure ongoing progress and support.
