Job summary

Align Health LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills for clients in Chillicothe, Washington Court House, and Circleville, Ohio. The role focuses on client-centered services to enable independence in everyday activities.

The candidate will use holistic assessments, adapt environments, and collaborate with families to ensure effective therapy and measurable progress in ADLs/IADLs.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the applicable state.
• Proven working experience as an OT.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to client environments and needs.

Responsibilities

• Address client’s performance aspects to support engagement in occupations affecting health and quality of life.
• Select and adapt the appropriate OT treatment model per case.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in ADLs and IADLs.
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and breaking down activities.
• Assess home and environments and advise on suitable alterations.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use.
• Educate family members and caregivers.
• Observe, note, and report progress toward goals.
• Collect data and document processes followed.
• Regularly follow-up client.
