Job summary

Elara Caring in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our home-based care team. You will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, coordinate with the care team, and support safe, effective therapy in patients' homes. Travel within the branch coverage area is required up to about 50%.

Graduate of an accredited OT program, a current state license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience are required. We offer competitive compensation and a suite of benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license valid for the state of work.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a clinical care setting.
• Able and willing to travel within branch/office coverage area.
• Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the occupational therapy patient to determine rehabilitation needs and develops a plan of care.
• Implements and develops the Plan of Care to ensure quality and continuity of care.
• Makes initial therapy evaluation visits and re-evaluates patient needs.
• Performs occupational therapy services following physician orders and established standards.
• Instructs patients and families in activities of daily living and uses adaptive equipment.
• Supervises staff to ensure the therapy care plan is followed.
