Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time home health role servicing the Baltimore area from our Towson, MD office.

The OT will perform home visits with a focus on rehabilitation for adult and geriatric patients in Northeast Baltimore County, Perry Hall, White Marsh, Nottingham and Kingsville regions. Qualifications

• Maryland OT license is required.
• Minimum of one year of recent OT experience.
• Graduation from an accredited OT program.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories.
• Evaluate patients’ functional status including ADLs/IADLs.
• Assess cognitive, psychological and motor aspects; develop plans.
• Evaluate home environment for hazards/barriers to independence.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Collaborate with nursing in multidisciplinary care plan.
• Educate patients and families in rehabilitative care.
• Document observations and interventions in EMR.
