Job summary

Danville Services of Arizona is seeking a staff nurse to provide in-home and community-based nursing care. You will have a manageable patient load with support from Direct Support Professionals, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care and timely documentation.

The role requires an AZ nursing license (RN/LPn) with a minimum of one year’s experience; background checks are mandatory. The position offers a sign-on bonus and opportunities to work closely with families in a home-care setting.

Qualifications

• RN Degree (AD/BSN/MSN) or LPN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background/fingerprint and central registry check.
• Must be 21 years of age, have a valid drivers license, and an insurable driving record.
• Nursing license must be valid in the State of AZ with no adverse actions.
• Must have good interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic keyboarding and computer skills.
• Must be highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide for the emotional, medical, and physical needs of consumers and improve their quality of life.
• Observe, document, report, take action and follow-up on health, safety, and medical needs.
• Implement medical recommendations made by the team and Director of Nursing.
• Provide nursing services under the direction of the Director of Nursing and stay within the Nurse Practice Act.
