VNA Care in Needham, MA seeks a Nurse Educator & Clinical Training Specialist, Home Health, RN, full time to provide educational resources to clinical staff, maintain expertise in home health practice, and integrate knowledge into patient care across our agency.

The role emphasizes onboarding new clinicians with evidence-based education plans, competency evaluation, mentoring of preceptors, didactic teaching, and updating online training resources, while ensuring compliance with policies and EMR

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years clinical experience, 3 in home care.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and E-Learning modalities preferred.
• Licensed in Massachusetts (MA).

Responsibilities

• Participates with hiring manager in interview and selection of clinical staff.
• Implements evidence-based education plans for new clinicians.
• Evaluates clinician performance through competency testing and joint visits.
• Serves as mentor for preceptors and provides feedback on progress.
