Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Saginaw, MI to work with pediatric and adult patients in their own homes. Patient needs often include gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilator care.

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, providing skilled nursing services per orders and monitoring for physiologic and psychosocial changes, while documenting diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
