Maxim Healthcare in Harrison, MI is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and adult patients. The role involves skilled nursing tasks including gastrostomy/ tracheostomy/ ventilator care as needed, with assessments and care planning in the home setting.

Requirements include an active LPN/LVN license in the state, current TB or chest X-ray, and a current BLS card. Prior nursing experience is preferred; extensive documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state where you will practice.
• Current TB or chest X-ray on file.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interpretes data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
