Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with pediatric ventilator patients in their own homes. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available, and Spanish bilingual proficiency is required.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process to assess and plan care, delivering skilled nursing services per orders, monitoring patient status, and documenting findings to support ongoing diagnoses and treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
