Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Algonac, MI to work with pediatric and adult patients in their own homes, often providing care for gastrostomy tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilator support.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice (Michigan).
• Current TB test or chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
