Job summary

Alumus Healthcare in Silverdale, WA, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide in-home nursing care, using the nursing process to ensure quality and continuity of care for patients in their residence.

You will join a team that emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient advocacy, and flexible employment models, including full-time or part-time roles with profit-sharing incentives based on documentation quality and care plans.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN/LVN license required or Compact State license- required.
• A minimum of 2 years LPN/LVN experience required.
• Able to educate patients and family on multiple disease processes and have good medication knowledge and wound care experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete and scan required record keeping forms/charts upon admission, transfer or discharge.
• Chart nurses’ notes reflecting care provided and patient response.
• Report discrepancies to the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure documentation regarding unauthorized discharges is entered per procedures.
