Job summary

Alumus Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care, applying the nursing process for quality and continuity of care. The RN will evaluate patients, initiate and revise plans of care, and perform specialized nursing services in patients' homes.

New grads are welcome. A current RN license (or compact license) and CPR are required; LTC/SNF/Rehab experience is preferred. Benefits include comprehensive coverage, PTO, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Newly credentialed grads are welcome to apply.
• Must hold a current, valid RN license or temporary RN license through the State Board of Nursing, or a compact RN license.
• CPR required.
• Recent licensed experience in LTC/SNF/Rehab strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing competencies to ensure effective and efficient care.
• Makes the initial evaluation visit and reevaluates patient’s nursing needs.
• Initiates the plan of care and revisions as needed.
• Provides services requiring specialized nursing skills.
• Initiates preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes after each patient visit and care conferences.
