Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a licensed practical nurse for full-time daytime shifts in Clinton, SC to provide high-quality care at patients' homes. You will verify plans of care, coordinate with RNs and physicians, and support patients and families with essential nursing tasks.

Qualifications

• One year of clinical LPN experience.
• Current LPN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Verify plan of care with the RN prior to each visit.
• Collaborate with physician and RN frequently to ensure patient needs are met; notify changes promptly.
• Teach patients and caregivers self-care techniques.
